Fifty-five juniors and seniors were inducted into Westlake High School's chapter of the National Honor Society in a ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 7. Four pillars of the National Honor Society -- scholarship, character, service and leadership -- are required for admission to the NHS. To be inducted, candidates must have a cumulative average of 88 or better in all subjects from freshman through the first marking period of their junior or senior year.
