Bronx resident Jose Cabrera has been arraigned on a 14-count indictment after he allegedly went to banks in Mount Vernon, Yonkers, Ossining and Thornwood with a forged Connecticut driver's license and attempted to take out cash over the course of a single afternoon.

Westchester Man Facing Charges For Running Rent Scam On Immigrants

A 43-year-old man is facing a series of felony charges for allegedly engaging in a rent scam targeting the immigrant community in Northern Westchester. Jeffrey Pena of Thornwood surrendered himself into police custody on Thursday, and has been arraigned on eight felony counts in a scheme to defraud immigrants in the area.
