A Northern Westchester woman suffered injuries and a gas station convenience store was significantly damaged on Monday when a car slid off an icy roadway in Thornwood, fire officials confirmed. First responders were dispatched to the Shell Gas Station on Marble Avenue at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Monday evening, when a Honda slid off the icy road and through the store, causing extensive damage to both the vehicle and interior of the store.
